Meet the Doctors

Kenley Michaud, DDS

Dr. Kenley Michaud was raised and went to college in Arizona. Growing up he enjoyed hiking, kayaking, and skiing. Skiing in Arizona’s heat was a little difficult, so he is excited to be in Alaska. After meeting his beautiful wife and graduating from Arizona State University, Dr. Michaud went to San Francisco for dental school. Dr. Michaud received his doctoral degree from The Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco where he graduated with high honors and was inducted into multiple scholastic societies.

Dr. Michaud completed his two year post doctorate residency in dental anesthesia at Loma Linda University. During this time Dr. Michaud received extensive training in sedation and anesthesia services in both an operating room setting as well as in a dental clinic. Over the course of his residency, Dr. Michaud treated patients with a variety of needs. These included very young children, people with disabilities, as well as dental phobic patients. Because of Dr. Michaud’s distinctive interdisciplinary training, he is uniquely trained to provide the highest quality of anesthesia in a manner which is safe and convenient for both the dentist and the patient in an outpatient setting.

Furthering his training, Dr. Michaud is currently board certified by both the American Society of Dentists Anesthesiologists and the American Dental Society of Anesthesia. As a diplomate in both societies, Dr. Michaud furthers the education of others and strives to increase the quality of sedation and anesthesia in the dental field. He looks forward to working with you as he helps to make your or your child’s dental experience top notch.
